Definition of beauty is something very secret, very intimate scene and situation.
Beauty is something you can’t really explain. It changes and manifest in different ways for different persona. This collection defines beauty seen as one specific work of art, the history of it and the message it holds. The main inspiration was The Rokeby Venus, a painting by Diego Velázquez, the leading artist of the Spanish Golden Age. Although it was attacked and badly damaged in 1914 by the suffragette Mary Richardson which played big part into development of the garments, the details and silhouettes. The mood isn’t about masculinity and sense of power, it is very specific historical women’s movement “feminism”. It is not aesthetically, a game in which man lets off his excess, it is not the expression of man’s emotions by external signs, it is not the production of pleasing objects, its a manifesto of woman as man woman as human. The main key of this collection is not about the product but the way it was created, it’s all about the patterns and finishing, fabrics. The same way artist chooses his materials for creating a painting.
