Like Water

The collection was designed and inspired by Sufist poet Rumi’s verses “like water.” The twelve piece collection is created and inspired by the different conditions of water; frozen, liquid, molten and dripping. Furthermore, the collection lays an emphasis on the lively, changing, transparent, reflecting side of water. The fabrics used in the collections have been prepared with a special solution and several pieces have not been stitched at all. The three-sleeve details used in jackets and skirts represent icicles, the spins in trousers and jumpsuits express flow, volumes used in dresses represent frostbite and details on the jackets describe the splashing of water. Designs which are based on the water theme have mainly blue, green and white tones.
