Pınar attempts to reflect the reality of the human spirit within her collection, combining the obligatory complications, contradictions and irony that this encompasses. The collection puts value and emphasis on the old and the natural, believing that with age comes experience and insight. By bringing things back to their original, humble and natural roots, she brings a dignity to this simplicity. In order to reflect these ideas Pınar has chosen shabby, oversized, masculine and regular cut forms. The fabrics used are natural materials such as sack, felt and linen. She then experimented further with techniques like rusting and bleaching to create unique worn out colours and textures.
